NVSPS received in January, 2013 the "Distinctive Communicator" awards from USPS for both the newsletter (Co-editors Richard Davis and Frank Shults) and the website (Walt Lazear).

NVSPS received in March, 2011 the "Best Hospitality Room of the Year" award from District 5 for their display of recommended boating medical kits. Details and a picture of the award are here.
