The 45th annual Change of Watch was held on March 24th, 2012 at the American Legion facility in Fairfax, VA. CDR John Karjala became Past Commander and P/C Jay Nelson became Commander. D/1st/Lt Jim Colston and his wife represented D5. It was a fun afternoon of socializing, changing the guard, and recognizing participating members. Awards were presented to outgoing Bridge members for their service and to various volunteers for their efforts supporting NVSPS. After the swearing-in ceremony, there was good fun welcoming CDR Nelson and his new Bridge, and the current past commanders present harassing P/C Karjala on his way out.
